About Amami
Amami Ōshima (奄美大島) is a semi-tropical island in Japan.
It lies roughly halfway between the islands of Okinawa and Kyūshū.
Amami Ōshima is home to several rare or endangered animals, including the Amami Rabbit and the Lidth's Jay, both of which are now found only in Amami Ōshima and Tokunoshima.
Access
To Amami from Tokyo,it takes about 2 hours by airplane.
To Amami from Ōsaka (Itami Airport) ,it takes 1 hours and 30 minutes by airplne.
From Aamami airport , you can take a bus.
The bus stop near Villa Yurimun is Akaogi(赤尾木).
But Amami is a big island.
So you should rent a car.
By car , You go to Villa Yurimun from Amami airport in 15 minutes.
